Loud Mobility Host Shared Mobility Summer School in Partnership With movmi & EIT

“From Mindshift to Modeshift” – movmi and Loud Mobility Announce Shared Mobility Summer
School
in Collaboration with EIT Urban Mobility

Camden, London – movmi, in collaboration with EIT Urban Mobility and Loud Mobility, is excited to host
a three-day Shared Mobility Summer School titled “From Mindshift to Modeshift” from August 20-22,
2024, in Camden, London. This unique program is designed for urban transportation professionals and
will address critical aspects of shared mobility, future growth potential and behavior change.

“We only have 86 months to 2030 – the deadline set by COP to achieve the goal of making clean
technology affordable, available and accessible to all. I’m really excited about this Summer School
because it focuses on very tangible approaches on exponentially increasing the adoption and reach of
shared mobility.”

The program will offer participants a blend of theoretical knowledge, practical insights, and networking
opportunities with senior professionals, policymakers, and local experts. The event will feature sessions
led by industry leaders such as Sandra Phillips, Founder & CEO of movmi, who will discuss design biases
in transportation, and Michael Glotz-Richter, Shared Mobility Expert, who will explore regulatory
challenges. Georgia Yexley, Founder of Loud Mobility, will share strategies for increasing the adoption of
shared mobility while proactively decreasing transport inequalities for historically excluded demographic
groups.

Camden, London, is the ideal location for this event, due to its vibrant atmosphere, creative energy, and
cultural attractions. Known for its iconic markets, live music venues, and artistic landmarks, Camden
offers a dynamic setting for exploration and learning. The urban challenges presented by Camden’s
bustling streets and historic landmarks provide a real-world laboratory for studying shared mobility
solutions. Participants will encounter diverse transportation challenges and opportunities, allowing them to
propose innovative strategies tailored to this vibrant city’s unique characteristics.

The course takes place at Loud Mobility’s Clubhouse, situated in a former infants school. When the
school moved to a larger space, it became part of the TfL estate, standing empty for several year. Now
managed by the charity Camden Collective, it provides office space for climate focused start-ups and
creative companies working to achieve net zero goals.

With a cap of 25 participants, the program ensures a personalized and engaging learning experience.
Attendees will have the opportunity to collaborate, engage in group work, and participate in
thought-provoking discussions aimed at fostering innovative solutions for sustainable urban mobility
challenges. Students will also receive networking opportunities with senior transportation professionals,
operators, academics, policy makers and the London group.

“We are incredibly excited to partner with movmi on the Shared Mobility Summer School. This program
presents a unique opportunity to share best practices with an international and diverse cohort. Hosting
this event at our headquarters in Camden, London—the epicenter of shared mobility in our
capital—allows us to fully leverage ‘the clubhouse’ as a dynamic space for collaboration across diverse
skill sets, expertise, and interests. Alongside exploring the rich tapestry of solutions and challenges to the
adoption of shared mobility that is so well demonstrated on our doorstep. Together, we are united by a

common goal: to raise the volume of joyful sustainable journeys.”. Georgia Yexley, Founder & Director of
Innovation and Impact, Loud Mobility.
